You will be prompted with reflections that fill you with inspiration, and guided step by step in thorough technique and inspired expression, through the beautiful and meditative medium of wax. See the full course outline below.
You will first receive your toolbox in the mail, and then you will gain access to login and unlock your five part video tutorial. The online course will be unveiled on the dark moon, January 17th at 1:11pm.
For those who are gifting or receiving this offering over the holidays, you will receive your toolbox to gift as soon as you purchase the course, and then you will have one moon from the time of the course launch, on January 17th, to complete your workshop, and return the toolbox and wax carving. Shipping labels will be supplied.
You will be prompted to select a ring size at checkout, not to worry if you don’t know the exact ring size, this can be adjusted after your carving is done.
Once your toolbox and wax carving are returned, your ring will be cast and finished in sterling silver, with the option to invest deeper into gold and gemstones, and shipped back to you within 6 weeks.
1:1 mentorship, and additional time will be available for more complicated or intricate creations.

You will have one month to complete your course and carving once you have received your toolbox. For those who are receiving this course as a gift over the holidays, you will have one month from the course launch date, January 17th.

There will be an additional option to work 1:1 with me for more intricate or complicated designs.

I have included two wax blocks in your toolbox. I recommend that you do the course once as a practice, and if you feel you’d like to make corrections to your piece, you will have one extra.

There will be an option to add additional time to your course if you find that you would like a bit more spaciousness to create.

This depends on many variables, but if you were to sit down and do the course all at once it should take no more than 4-5 hours. However I have included two waxes so that you have the option to do a practice round, learn the techniques, and then do the course again to refine your idea and design. This is why I have allotted one moon for the full ceremony, so that there is time to play and experiment.

After you have finished your wax carving and shipped it back to me, I will supply an estimate for you to cast your piece into gold, as well as a variety of gemstones for you to choose from to adorn your piece.

Yes, if you have a large amount of gold in the same colour, it is possible to cast your piece using your own material for a small additional cost for specialized casting. You need approximately 5 extra grams of gold on top of the amount needed for your ring in order to cast using your own material.
Alternatively, you can supply gold to use as a credit towards new material, if you prefer your piece to be cast in gold.

Yes, there will be an entire section in the course about using your own gemstone in your design and fabrication, as well as information about sourcing a gemstone if you’d like to include one and don’t have a stone.

Not to worry, sizing can be adjusted and customized after your workshop. If you don’t know your ring size, just select the closest to, or select an average size of 6-7 for a ring finger, or 7-8 for an index or middle finger.
After your workshop you can go and have you finger sized and I will adjust the wax as needed.
