Matriarch
A handcrafted Platinum and 18kt yellow gold ring, to honour the journey of womanhood and the matriarchal lineage of my beautiful collector. We used symbolisms of the four phases of womanhood to tell her story, using the geography of sacred places and heirlooms to represent each chapter.
Maidenhood | The Yukon
The Platinum silhouette of Mt. Logan, Canadas tallest temple - encrusted in heirloom diamond icefields, where my collector followed her creativity, wisdom and passions in geographical field studies.
Motherhood | Kimberly, BC
Negative space flows through the ring to represent St.Mary’s River, where my collector became a mother.
Maga | A generational Spinel
Passed down from Mother to Daughter since 1927, given to my collector by her own Mother.
Crone | A chipped Diamond
A chipped Diamond from her Grandmothers wedding ring in 1949, sinking behind the Yukon mountains, a setting sun, the last light.
